In the spirit of New Year, The Nam Hai Charity Fund successfully completed our “Warmth of Tet” projects for disadvantaged people.

The traditional Tet holiday is a special occasion for Vietnamese people. However, for those unfortunate people who struggle through life, Tet brings an added burden to worry about.

With this is mind, on 4 February 2015, we continued our project of presenting Tet gifts to 350 families in Dien Duong to help them welcome a joyful lunar year. Each family received a gift to the value of 500,000VND, which included some necessities for Tet and lucky money.

We were delighted to welcome the hotel guests who joined us for this charitable occasion and experienced the unforgettable wonder and pleasure that our Fund provides.

On the afternoon of 6 February, we continued our journey to The Dien Ban Centre for the Development of Children with Special Needs. The kids were so happy to learn of our visit and gave us the warmest of welcomes.

The highlight of the presentation ceremony was a lion dance which thrilled both kids and visitors alike.

We were overjoyed to see excited laughter on happy little faces as the kids enjoyed every moment of the performance.

On 15 February, we visited the residents at The Old Folks Home in Da Nang to wish them a happy new year.
