For many disadvantaged pupils in Vietnam, enrolling to a university can offer them the chance to create a better future. However, it’s not everyone who can afford the tuition of 4 to 5 years of study. It was the reason why we created the project of sponsoring tuition for students to finish their university studies and until now, the result from these projects is something we can be proud of.

Mr. Anthony Gill, General Manager, at the ceremony

After the success of the first group in 2010, we continued with our second and third group in 2013 and 2014. During their years at university, besides financial support, we continued to keep in touch with them to update their studies. We also held some friendly meetings between the students and our donors, as well as the Resort’s management team to hear about the students’ daily life, their study and possible career orientation. Through these occasions, they also expressed their interests in working here at The Nam Hai which were really appreciated by the management team.

On October 6, a cosy meeting was held at The Nam Hai. On this occasion, the students were gifted scholarships for their second and third year at university.

Mr. Edward Smith with his inspirational speech

We were also very honour to welcome the Vice Presidents of Dien Ban and Dai Loc People Commitee where the students are living.
